CHATTANOOGA, Tenn.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--
CBL Properties (NYSE:CBL) today announced the addition of Dunham’s
Sports to Laurel Park Place, located in the Detroit suburb of Livonia,
Michigan, replacing the former Carson’s location.
“We are pleased to announce the addition of Dunham’s to Laurel Park
Place,” said Stephen Lebovitz, chief executive officer, CBL Properties.
“Dunham’s will bring a new shopping experience to the strong mix of
users at the property, including Von Maur, H&M, Victoria’s Secret and
California Pizza Kitchen.”
Lebovitz added, “This announcement comes less than one year after
Carson’s closure, further illustrating the strong demand we are
experiencing from growing retailers and other users. We are making
tremendous progress on our anchor replacement program with nearly two
dozen of these projects committed, including six already open, and many
others in various stages of negotiation.”
Dunham’s will occupy approximately 45,000 square feet of the former
Carson’s location. Construction on this project is currently underway
with a planned opening in fall 2019. Additional details for the
remainder of the former Carson’s will be announced as plans are
finalized.
